I haven’t heard anyone use the word “MAYDAY” in over ten years.
When you have Travis Scott as your DJ, you are a busy man. These days, Travis is on so many songs, I heard him on one my stove plays after the oven reached its desired temperature (OK, I thought that joke was funny). Anyway, DJ Chase B is Travis’ DJ, and on “MAYDAY,” he got a chance to link two of hip-hop’s wackiest artists together for this bizarre ass banger that features a shifty instrumental, a crazy ass hook, an unnecessarily amped up Sheck that isn’t using his inside voice at any point of his contributions, and last but not least, a version of Thugger that spits out bars like a calculator. Correct, this song is all over the place…
