If the world was a small town, there would be so many random diners I would be able to eat at (I’m such a foodie)!
You know what I love about Joe Hanson’s style? He’s a helluva singer, but at the same time, he does a great job of coming across as an ordinary Joe we can all relate to lyrically. In “If The World Was A Small Town,” these sentiments ring truer than ever, as Joe gifts us with a high-octane track that features electrifying vocals and a colorful instrumental that has a splash of rock-n-roll/country vibes attached to it. But in the end of the day, what makes this song special is its lyrical content. Throughout, Joe talks about doing the little things small town people do with his lover, ultimately sounding like someone who simply enjoys the finer things in life. I enjoy the finer things in life, too, so this song certainly resonated with me.
I’m from a big town, but even I felt like this song was so cool to listen to!
