This track is f**king toxic!
If you’re a fan of XXXTENTACION, you’ll be pleased to know that there are artists in the game who channel his style. Rico Nasty is among those artists. In this remix of “#PROUDCATOWNER,” she matches the wild energy of X’s craziest persona.
“#PROUDCATOWNER” is one of the most peculiar tracks I’ve encountered. In it, XXXTENTACION assumes the roles of about five distinct cartoon characters, delivering verses about a myriad of nonsensical topics (I admit, I do appreciate the varied flows X employs throughout the song). Rico Nasty drops a verse on the track that is just as outlandish as X’s verse. While I may not be a fan of it, I respect her ability to sound deranged.
Anyone who owns cats is crazy, so I am not that surprised by this track.
