G Perico & Wiz Khalifa Remake “Billie Jean” (Review)

Michael is somewhere in heaven shaking his head right now.

I think G Perico is on his way to rap super-stardom. Just a few months ago, the Los Angeles rapper announced that he was partnering up with Roc Nation, which tells me that a legendary figure like Jay-Z believes he actually has serious talent. Today, G showcases some of his talent to the world, dropping off a 2019 version of Michael Jackson’s infamous “Billie Jean” hit for us.

G Perico’s “Billie Jean” has the soul of Micheal Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” but the heart of NWA’s “F**k The Police.” On the track, G and featured guest Wiz Khalifa trade verses about everything from rogue baby mamas to opp altercations. While I am not the biggest fan of the song, I do admire G’s willingness to revive one of my favorite hits of all time.
