On the real, human-beings don’t get realer than Young Dolph!
Just last week, my Podcast partner and I went back and forth on whether or not Young Dolph’s raps were more powerful than MoneyBagg Yo’s raps. What I said was that Dolph doesn’t quite deliver his bars as energetically or dynamically as MoneyBagg, but he does speak serious street s**t n***as can feel. With that being said, in “Tric Or Treat,” we are treated to vintage Dolph, as on it, he raps ruggedly about supplying drugs to Memphis Grizzly players, giving money back to his hood, and how he stayed true from start to finish on his way to success.
As usual, you’ll love how cold/gassed up Dolph is on this song, especially when you add to the fact that the beat he’s rapping over sounds like it just finished up a decade stint in jail.
