Lauryn Hill Returns To The Music Scene With “Guarding The Gates”

“Guarding The Gates” will give you flashbacks to the music you heard on “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill!”

What “Guarding The Gates” will do to your soul is pierce it, as in the song, Lauryn Hill sings strongly about the unbelievable feeling that comes with being in love. Though the backbone of the song serves “Queen & Slim” really well, I don’t think serves Hill’s detractors well at all (This song sounds like a “f**k you” to them).

“Queen & Slim” might be one of the holiest soundtracks of all-time.
