‘Melanin’ is such an interesting song. For starters, it features this uptempo electronica instrumental that I’m sure JJ Fad would be proud of. Over this instrumental, Ciara, LaLa, Lupita Nyongo, City Girls, and Ester Dean all rap freely about self-beauty, self-love, and self-okurrr!
While I don’t think ‘Melanin’ should be taken all that seriously, its energy is way too impeccable to pass upon.
LaLa and Lupita’s rapping skills > Blueface and Lil Mosey’s rapping skills (I truly mean it, too).
