MobBeatz Absolutely Shines In “Mind Me”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

MobBeatz is the real f**king deal.

I’m a huge fan of emo-hip-hop music. In Love Now, Cry Later, MobBeatz, a rising star originally from Turkey and raised in Troy, New York, delivers a masterful collection of them. One of my favorite songs from the album is “Mind Me”—an emotional banger that I guarantee will stay stuck in your head.

Once you press play on “Mind Me,” you’re greeted by a hard-hitting trap beat that somehow feels like it enjoys picking flowers and taking long walks on the beach. Over it, MobBeatz fearlessly sings about the tumultuous, bipolar relationship he has with his ex-lover, who struggles with drug use and is inconsistent in romance. (Aw s**t, MobBeatz has a female Josh Gordon in his hands.)

What I love most about “Mind Me” is that it’s catchy, relatable, and, most importantly, has a sound perfectly suited for club environments. To make a long story short, there’s no f**king way you won’t like this song.
