EarthGang & Reason Link Up For “Still Up”
“Still Up” is one of two new songs by Dreamville.
Dreamville’s “Revenge of the Dreamers III” album was one of the best from last year. Well, it looks like the label has decided to keep their candlelit by dropping Still Up!
Still Up is powered by this gritty instrumental that damn-there begs a rapper to spit bars over it. Well, thankfully, Reason and EarthGang are capable of spitting bars with the best of them, and in this song, BOYYYYYY DO THEY SPIT BARS! (OK, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration). While EarthGang blesses us with bars that are amped up, catchy, and carefree, Reason blesses us with a verse that is gritty, complex and fast-paced. When you combine the two worlds together, what you get is an unorthodox banger that is way too infectious to leave alone.
I’m telling my kids that EarthGang and Outkast are the same people…
