2 Chainz & Future Link Up For “Dead Man Walking”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

If this song isn’t about George Zimmerman, I’m going home.

Despite having two completely different styles of rapping, 2 Chainz and Future have a few things in common: They are both Atlanta legends and dudes who love talking about money. It’s surprising that they don’t have full-blown albums together.

Recently, 2 Chainz and Future got together for a new single called “Dead Man Walking.”

“Dead Man Walking” is powered by a fast-paced, sinister trap beat that I absolutely love. Over it, 2 Chainz and Future deliver big-boy bars highlighting their knack for making money, lavish spending habits, and indulgence in fast women.

While the catchy hook will undoubtedly grab your attention, I also appreciate the dynamic, borderline wacky flows 2 Chainz and Future bring to the track, particularly how they layer their verses over the beat.

2 Chainz sounds like 21 Savage in this song.
