From the moment I pressed play on “Fkn Around,” I danced my ass off! For starters, the song features this funky ass instrumental that I can see myself doing the electric slide to. Over this instrumental, the lead singer of Phony Ppl (Elbee Thrie) gifts us with extremely infectious contributions that have him sounding both roaring and sly, while Megan Thee Stallion gifts us with a verse that has her sounding both unapologetic and playa-like. All in all, “Fkn Around” is a song that is dedicated to all the jive turkeys that love to dance and play Atari.
Megan Thee Stallion is such an opportunist (I love that about her).
