UPSIDE DOWN

Royce Da 5’9, Benny The Butcher & Ashley Sorrell

OVERALL RATING (????)

Royce Da 5’9 and Benny The Butcher aren’t f**king around on this song.

If you aren’t looking forward to Royce Da 5’9’s The Allegory album, I may need to take your rap card away. On it, I expect the punchlines to be heavy, the wordplay to be impressive, and the lyrics to be real as s**t. With that being said, In “Upside Down,” the latest single off of the soon-to-be-released album, Royce and featured guest Benny The Butcher go off!

“Upside Down” is powered by this dark-ass instrumental that I’m sure was made by someone that mean mugs all the time. Over this instrumental, Royce Da 5’9 and Benny The Butcher spit competitive bars that aim to demoralize ringtone rappers and get listeners to be woke. As expected, the bars you hear by both rappers are accompanied by undeniable trillness and flows that are ungodly.

Royce Da 5’9 and Benny The Butcher are making me love rap again!
