Katy Perry is expecting a child and is engaged to Orlando Bloom right now — How exciting is that! The good thing about musicians is that they are able to express their most joyous moments in their music whenever they feel like it; Katy does just that in “Never Worn White.”
“Never Worn White” is the opposite of “California Girls:” It’s sobering, it features a piano-heavy instrumental, and it has tons of vulnerable lyrics. You also get one of Katy Perry’s most soulful/touching vocal performances in the song, as, throughout it, she reaches notes that are higher than the Willis Tower.
