Joe 6LACKO, where the hell you been?

I feel like 6LACK dropped his debut album then sorta disappeared. Don’t get me wrong, he featured on a bunch of people’s songs, but his solo efforts were nowhere to be found. Today, the Atlanta singer/songwriter/rapper decided to return to the music scene with “ATL Freestyle” — a song that doesn’t sound like a freestyle at all…

“ATL” Freestyle features a version of 6LACK that has a nice little pep to his step, that is melodic, and that is ready to ball on n***as in the smoothest way possible. Even though he still sounds a bit winey on the song, I do hear some adulation in his lyrics.
