Florida heavy-hitters unite for “Big Dawg.”
Smokepurpp’s new Florida JIT album will release this Friday. Personally, I want to see serious growth from the Miami rapper on it. Today, ‘Purpp decided to release “Big Dawg” — a high-octane banger that has him sounding like a triple OG.
I don’t love “Big Dawg.” I feel like the song features a very mundane trap beat, a whiny hook and verse by Smokepurpp, and a mailed-in verse by Rick Ross. If I were to guess, “Big Dawg” won’t be one of my favorite songs from Florida Jit.
Since Smokepurpp put a baby picture on the artwork for Florida Jit, the album better be great!
