Bel James thinks it’s time to start holding weak-ass rappers accountable.
Though I think hip-hop is in a solid place right now, I do admit, there are a lot of wack rappers that I hear on a daily basis. With that being said, Bel James is an up-and-coming rapper that reminds me of the veteran rappers that I grew up loving. On his new single, “Ghostwriting,” Bel doesn’t only put on a show, but he also takes a few folks to school.
“Ghostwriting” is powered by a zany beat that I can see Eminem murdering. Over it, Bel James warns folks about his come up, he calls out rappers for sounding the same, and he puts cappers to shame. Though the song features lyrics that are beyond entertaining, please do not sleep on the outstanding flows our hero raps with throughout.
