Russ and Kehlani sound really good together.
Russ is a fantastic rapper, but in my opinion, he is even better at creating infectious R&B music. With that being said, “Take You Back,” his latest single, is a melodic banger that will get stuck in your head quickly.
I recommend that you close your eyes while you listen to “Take You Back.” The song features a beat that is soothing and vocal performances by Russ and Kehlani that are intoxicating. As for lyrically, I like how the former comes across like an individual that believes in redemption, while the latter comes across like an individual that believes in rebates.
“Take You Back” is easily one of the best songs that I’ve heard this year.
