Hands down, “Rockits” is one of the best rap songs I’ve heard this year.
On “Rockits,” Dougie Allen & Lou’ Prime prove to the world that they are young rappers with old school characteristics.
“Rockits” is powered by a slightly tougher/wavier version of Boogie’s “Silent Ride” beat (A beat that I absolutely love). Over it, Dougie Allen and Lou’ Prime rap about their rough come-ups, their winning ways, their intentions of putting their fam on, their competitive fervor, and their disgust for people that idolize meaningless s**t. Both rappers gift us with unflappable flows and wisdom-filled lyrics. Both rappers also sound hella confident.
I got my eyes on Dougie Allen and Lou’ Prime. I think that they are hella talented rappers!
