CHILD OF THE GHETTO

Dave East

OVERALL RATING (??????)

“Child Of The Ghetto” is Dave East’s hardest record in a while.

There aren’t many rappers that are as hood authentic as Dave East. Matter of fact, most of his songs sound like they were recorded in a dirty-ass laundromat in an apartment complex in the hood. East’s latest single, “Child Of The Ghetto,” is one of his grittiest releases to date.

“Child Of The Ghetto” is powered by a beat that you would probably hear on a DMX album back in the day. Over it, Dave East raps tenaciously about being the same ole violent/knowledgable hood dude that we’ve all come to love. If you are a fan of old-school rap music, you will like this song a lot!
