Dave East Puts Up A Flawless Performance On “Mercedes Talk”

MERCEDES TALK

Dave East

OVERALL RATING (????????)

Why does Dave East premiere his songs on WSHH?

It’s simple: If you like hip-hop music, you have to like Dave East’s music. With that being said, “Mercedes Talk” sounds like the type of song that rap legends make.

Dave East keeps it 100 in “Mercedes Talk.” Throughout the song, he raps about his unflappable demeanor, his hood-certified ways, his hate for bloggers, his loyal friends, his fake friends, and more. While I f**k with how East plows through his verses with little to no effort, I admit, the best thing about the song is the beat (That s**t reminds me of the beats that Jay-Z used to murder back in the day).
