Since the ripe old age of six, Belgium artist Hunter Falls has been belting out tunes. Growing up, the singer-songwriter lived in several different countries, turning the beauty he found in experiencing other cultures as inspiration for his art. Hunter Fall’s journey into pop music evolved from a combination of genre exploration and powerful memories. His latest release, “All I Never Wanted,” is self-described by the artist as a breakup song that explores the ups-and-downs of a toxic relationship.
The song’s relatable message is one of hope, adaptable to a wide variety of situations for anyone that’s needed to be removed from a situation in order to recognize its toxicity and grow. Although the track explores a darker theme, the overall energy of the song is uplifting and filled with positive inspirational vibes. There are strong R&B roots, and well-placed instrumental chords and vocal samples on this indie-pop tune, but it’s really Hunter Falls display of honest vulnerability that drives home the overall message of the song. Fans and newcomers will fall in love with “All I Never Wanted.”
