Coming 2 America is the only movie that I am hyped to see this year.
No shade at all, but I’ve never heard a Bobby Sessions song before… Don’t get me wrong, I’m familiar with his name, I just never took the time to press play on anything that he was on. Today, a song featuring Sessions and Megan Thee Stallion called “Ima King” hit streaming services; do y’all think I listened to it?
I am very impressed with what Bobby Sessions was able to do on this “I’ma King” track. I f**k with the confidence, the energy, and the royalness that he raps with on the song. As for Megan Thee Stallion, she closes the song out with a basic verse that also solidifies herself as a royal queen.
This song could’ve ended up on a Wal-Mart version of Beyonce’s Lion King: The Gift album.
