“Holy Ghost In The Sky” is on Hunter & Girton’s “Roots” album.

Hunter & Girton is a folk-infused alternative rock band consisting of Jonathan Hunter and Dakota Girton. While the duos earliest work released in 2016, their music is heavily influenced by elements from both the 60s and the 90s. Hunter and Girton’s latest project, Roots, contains some of the most powerful songs I’ve heard to date. One that will definitely catch your attention is “Holy Ghost In The Sky.”

The first time I listened to “Holy Ghost In The Sky,” I got chills. Not only is the song powered by an instrumental that boasts both dark and springy vibes, but it also features a vocal performance that starts off sounding rugged and finishes sounding stimulating, and lyrics that challenge you to question the things that you rely on (Including GOD) when s**t hits the fan.

“Holy Ghost In The Sky” does a fantastic job of pleasing the listeners’ ears, but also making listeners think deeply about their disaster recovery plans. I highly recommend that you give the song several shots below!
