Jibs displays serious talent in “Sweet & Soothin’.”

South London-born Jibs is a rap artist/DJ that’s worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry. From the young age of eleven, he was already exploring his passion for music by writing his own lyrics, which eventually led to his DJ’ing career. Jibs’ debut EP Testing was released back in 2020 and is now being followed-up with his smooth EP A Night With Jibs. “Sweet & Soothin’ is one of the four tracks off the EP. 

This track is a dance-ready bop filled with catchy beats, solid deliveries, and sly lyrics. As for the moody vibes that you hear in the instrumental, they provide an interesting atmospheric variation that lets you drift off to space. All in all, “Sweet & Soothin'” is a great listen for fans of hip hop, rap, or smooth beats.
