“State Line” by Brad Byrd might just put tears in your eyes (Are you sure that no one is cutting onions in the other room?).

Brad Byrd is a Los Angeles-based musician that loves to bounce between a myriad of genres when he makes music. On his official website, he states that he is well-versed in everything from pop-rock to alt-country. With that being said, it is Brad’s intimate songwriting that will strike a chord with you. “State Line,” one of his standout singles, is one that I guarantee you will feel in your soul.

“State Line” is almost eight minutes long. Within that time, you get to hear an instrumental that starts out soothing but morphs into something that is jam-packed with exhilarating guitar-play, classic country music vibes, an irresistible drum pattern, and a nice rhythm. While Brad never really deviates from a brisk/nurturing sound vocally, I do admit, it’s captivating listening to him come across as an ordinary Joe that is doing everything he can to try to figure out the way he should drive on his road to happiness.

Listen to the very beautiful “State Line” below.
