Whoa, Lil Yachty sounds pretty good over a drill beat…
We can no longer call Lil Yachty a young kid that don’t know nothing about nothing. According to the very reliable Wikipedia, in August, he will turn 24 years old. As Yachty has aged, the more and more I feel like he has improved as a rapper. Today, the Georgia native decided to release “Cortex,” a track in which he shows off his ability to spit bars over a drill beat.
Lil Yachty slides on “Cortex.” While the flows that he raps with are slightly off, I do enjoy how he makes the drill beat that powers the song his b*tch. I also love how Yachty talks his s**t, reminding us that he is a sly dude that is horny, rich, and trill.
