As you may know, I am a major hip-hop fan. While I enjoy it when rappers hit us with dynamic flows and killer punchlines, I am a huge fan of rappers that actually talk about meaningful s**t in their music. In “EXCELLENCE,” Ryan Vuolo’s latest single, he does a great job of making every single one of his bars count.
They don’t make tracks like “EXCELLENCE” anymore. The song features a smooth/old-school hip-hop beat that would make the great J. Dilla proud, flawless rap flows, and outstanding wordplay. The song also features lyrics that will let you know about Ryan’s impressive come-up, his growth as a man, his thoughtful mind, his love for music, and his motivational ways.
Though “EXCELLENCE” is pretty short (It’s only two minutes long), Ryan achieves a lot in the song. Listen to it below!
