Prince Shakir & MAVI Teach A Master Class In Rap On “the great delusion”

RGM RATING (????????)

In only 2:19, Prince Shakir and MAVI prove to me that they probably created rap.

Prince Shakir was clearly born to rap. He approaches every single song that he hops on with a level of excellence that is glaring. Matter of fact, I can tell that Shakir loves the genre so much, I wouldn’t be surprised if he rapped for us simply for a sandwich and some rims for his car. For those of you that don’t believe in the young bull’s skills, do yourself a favor and listen to “the great delusion.”

Prince Shakir and MAVI both do their thing in “the great delusion.” Over a beat that sounds like some gentle The Neptunes s**t, the two rappers hit us with flows that are so smooth, I cannot believe that they are not made out of butter, outstanding wordplay, wisdom-filled bars, motivational bars, and bars that will make you get your grind on by all means neccesary. In my opinion, the only thing the song is missing is a Mick Jenkins verse.

If you want to be enamored by effortlessly powerful raps, go ahead and give “the great delusion” a shot below.
