“Sorry I’m a Mess”  is a dive into nostalgic bliss that’s filled with contagious non-stop energy.

Donald Jack Nicholson (better known by his stage name JNixx) is an 18-year-old musical artist from Minnesota. Since middle school, JNixx has been writing and recording music. His musical style is a combo of melodic and classic rap. JNixx considers his biggest musical influences to be Mac Miller, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. Through JNixx’s work, his goal is to help his fans “heal through music” and use it to overcome life’s challenges. His latest release is the single “Sorry I’m a Mess.”

This track has a super carefree and bouncy spirit that’s reminiscent of the ’90s and 00s grungy punk pop-rock groups like Blink 182 or Fall Out Boy. The beats are catchy and the lyrics which include lines like “can I get high to numb the pain” are well-matched with the song’s overall style of.
