I like Saweetie’s dribbling skills.
I’m not the biggest Saweetie fan. Matter of fact, I will go a step further: I don’t think Saweetie makes the best music in the world. I do respect her ability to sell s**t, though. With that being said, her latest release, “Fast (Motion),” is a nominee for the worst song of 2021 for me (Respectfully).
“Fast (Motion)” features the kind of beat that I would do a HIIT workout to. It also features some pretty elementary raps, a hook that straddles the line between catchy and annoying impeccably, and a structure that I absolutely hate. I can see the song being played in clubs, but I do not see it making anyone’s personal playlists.
This song sounds like something you would hear on a sitcom.
