There is no way in hell that you can walk away from “What Do You Say” not feeling good about yourself.
You won’t find a single person that appreciates Common’s music more than I do. With that being said, these last couple of years, I haven’t been checking for his releases. Apparently, Common dropped a hot-ass song called “What Do You Say” a few months ago. Today, a dope remix to the song hit streaming services.
Once It’s summer, I think I’m going to bump “What Do You Say (Remix)” every single day. Not only do I love the song’s gleeful reggae-inspired beat, but I also love PJ’s highly intoxicating hook and Common’s sly/romantic rap verse. The icing on the cake is Damien Marley’s authentic reggae contributions.
