“Need Love” is a sweet love song meant to uplift, inspire, and remind us of the goodness within ourselves.

Phoenix, Arizona-based creative Linda Washington is a nurse, singer, songwriter, author, and breast cancer survivor. Her book, Forbidden and Broken: Finding Love Behind the Scars, explores her emotional and heartbreaking experiences during her battle with cancer and her post-treatment dating experiences of being in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship that left her broken. Washington’s book is meant to help inspire other survivors like herself. Her latest musical release is the single “Need Love.”

This new single features artist Superstar Lamer, someone who’s also appeared on Washington’s previous singles “Love Again” and “Missing You.” The stimulating pop track has some R&B vibes woven into it that nicely complement both artist’s vocals. According to Washington, “Need Love” is a response to the amount of hate, hurt, and pain in today’s world. It’s meant to serve as a reminder that we all need love in our lives to thrive. Filled with positive affirmations about self-worth, “Need Love” is the perfect musical treatment for an imperfect world.
