RGM RATING (??????????)

A genuine reflection of growth that’s meant to encourage listeners to evaluate themselves honestly.

Seattle, WA artist ALITA is a songwriter and producer looking to inject honesty into today’s music scene. ALITA’s music reflects on her own stories of everything from young adulthood to feminism, as well as relationships and loss. The rising artist has been featured in outlets including Beats1, American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine, and Hidden Hits. Recently, she was listed as one of nine international artists chosen for AC Milan’s From Milan With Love: Next Generation. Her latest release is the R&B single “It Takes Two.”

According to ALITA, this track is a “coming of age song at its core,” and “It Takes Two” contains plenty of powerful lines reminding listeners of the importance of self-awareness. There’s also plenty of funky R&B beats and warm pop tones to keep ALITA’s captivating vocals company. “It Takes Two” isn’t just another break-up song, but one with an important message about personal growth, and of course, it also sounds amazing.
