It’s very interesting listening to Logic go through the motions in his music.

Logic’s retirement lasted longer than my first time (Not very long), so he doesn’t sound rusty on the mic. The last couple of songs that the Maryland rapper has released feature some killer bars that are delivered rather impeccably. Logic decided to slow things down a bit for his latest single, “Get Up.”

“Get Up” is powered by a very soothing beat. Since this is the case, you mainly get a calm version of Logic on the song. For most of the track, he sings gently about being in a great place in his life and having the right people around him these days. The good news is this: Logic does drop a hard-hitting rap verse towards the end that will definitely resonate with true fans of his.

There isn’t a rapper in the game that is tackling mental health as fearlessly as Logic.
