The title track off VZN’s new work is a silky smooth reflection of the struggles of feeling different and not wanting to conform simply to fit in. VSN’s soft vocals blend in nicely with the light, upbeat instrumentals, which have a slightly airy tone. “BLACK SHEEP” has a bit of a retro vibe that’s reminiscent of the late 90s/early 2000s R&B style. If you’ve ever felt like an outsider trying to fit in, you’ll definitely feel the connection to VZN’s emotional experience as the “BLACK SHEEP” amongst the pack.
