Black Eyed Peas Recruit Saweetie & Lele Pons For “HIT IT”

HIT IT

Black Eyed Peas, Saweetie & Lele Pons

RGM RATING (??????)

Saweetie is officially on two of the cheesiest songs I’ve heard this year.

Black Eyed Peas are no longer in their prime, but they are still actively making music. Last year, they dropped an album called TRANSLATION. Today, they decided to return to the music scene with a brand new single called “HIT IT” with Saweetie and Lele Pons.

“HIT IT” is the kind of track that you would hear at a wild bar like Madhattar. The song features a bubbly instrumental, a hook that boasts a juicy back and forth between will.i.am and Fergie 3.0 Lele Pons, a pretty bizarre rap verse by Saweetie, and raw-ass verses by the other two members of Black Eyed Peas.

I respect Saweetie’s willingness to sell out.
