A dazzling electro-pop track that reflects on the dark side of emotions.

UK-based musical creative Darla Jade is an up-and-coming electro-pop artist with a captivating style. Her unique sound has a scandipop sense which comes from her dazzling blend of alluring vocals, infectious melodies, and a hint of an electronic 80s vibe. Darla Jade’s latest drop is the EP Disconnected. The wonderfully mesmerizing “Drag Me Down” is the closing track for her new release. 

The tune explores dark emotions, diving right in with angst-ridden lyrics that reflect inner turmoil. In one of the reflective verses, Jade states, “Tell me how to break the cycle. Cause I’ve been on a downward spiral.” Despite the moody theme of “Drag Me Down,” the track’s energy is actually quite uplifting, and the sound is wonderfully upbeat.
