RGM RATING (??????)

Meek Mill is in midseason form right now.

Meek Mill is in the news for all kinds of reasons these days (It’s usually good news, too). While I am happy with how much he has grown these last couple of years, at the end of the day, it’s his rapping skills that make me excited for his future. A week ago, Meek released a hard-ass track called “War Stories.” Today, he decided to release “Mandela Freestyle,” another track with ferocious bars.

“Mandela Freestyle” is powered by a riveting beat. Over it, Meek Mill hurls out his bars like a hungry survivalist, reminding folks of his come up, his losses, his wins, his court episodes, and his fights for justice. As expected, every single bar that comes out of his mouth is accompanied by tons of urgency.

Say what you want about Meek, but you can’t say that he hasn’t done a lot for the streets.
