Rod Wave

RGM RATING (??????)

I’m sure Rod Wave averages three cries a week.

I’m not going to lie, I am very surprised at how popular Rod Wave has become. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s talented; I just wasn’t sure his emotional music would resonate with a wide variety of folks. Whatever the case may be, Wave’s last album, SoulFly, did very well on the Billboard charts. In the next couple of days, the Florida rapper plans on releasing a deluxe version of Soulfly. To get us hyped up for the deluxe, Wave decided to release “Time Heals.”

“Time Heals” is yet another emotional trap record (Surprise, surprise). It features one of those uptempo, piano-heavy trap beats that will make you cry ghetto tears, a daring vocal performance, and lyrics that will remind you that finding a woman that is loyal and down for you is better than having 100 women that are not. Give “TIme Heals” a shot so you can get in your feels ray quick.

Whenever Rod Wave has a voicemail message in his song, he’s undefeated.
