The Undecideds Gift Us With The “Oldest Story In The World”

Oldest Story In The World

The Undecideds

RGM RATING (????????)

“Oldest Story In The World” might also be the best story in the world.

There are a bunch of things to love about The Undecideds. For me, the two things that stand out the most about them are their band name (It was inspired by the great fringe rock bands from the past) and the fact that they are siblings. Another thing that stands out to me is how skilled the duo is. With Chloe on the vocals, bass, and keys and Dexter on the guitar and drums, The Undecideds has been able to make music that is truly refreshing. One of the band’s latest singles is “Oldest Story In The World.”

“Oldest Story In The World” is inspired by Peter Case’s classic 80s track with the same name. Personally, what I love about The Undecideds version of the song is that it features a demanding/confident vocal performance, hypnotizing guitar-play, a nice tempo, and vibes that make me wish that I was in my 20s in LA during the late 70s.

Doesn’t this band have a certain glow to them? Anywho, listen to “Oldest Story In The World” below!
