Big Sean & Hit-Boy Link Up Once Again For “What A Life”

What A Life

Big Sean & Hit-Boy

RGM RATING (????????)

Big Sean goes ham, cheese, mayo, secret sauce, and eggs (Some people like eggs in their club sandwiches) in “What A Life.”

I feel like Big Sean has morphed into a rapper that often feels the need to remind folks that he can spit bars with the best of them. In a good chunk of his latest releases, I’ve heard him spit killer bars over instrumentals that someone who wants to prove a point would usually spit bars over. In Sean’s latest single, “What A Life,” he spits as hard as he has ever spit (Damn, I abused the word ‘spit’ in this paragraph).

“What A Life” is powered by a menacing, action-packed Hit-Boy beat. Over it, Big Sean feverishly raps about everything from being a hard worker to being a playboy to being highly successful. What you are going to love about the song is Big Sean’s consistent flows and big-boy lyrics.

Why doesn’t Sean get the same respect as the other A-list rappers in the game? (He’s an A-lister, right?)
