The very talented Justy is back and as festive as ever! In her latest single, “This Time Of The Year,” the Brooklyn-born, Staten Island-raised artist blesses us with cozy vibes and lyrics that will make you want to wrap your loved ones up and put them under your tree.

From skating at Rockefeller Center to taking a ride on the Staten Island ferry. This single is my ode to Christmas in NY for a girl from a small borough taking in the magic of this time of year. The visual feautures this feeling of home and warmth, with queer representation to break from the norm of typical christmas love story narratives. As seen in the cover art, I am atop a globe with the staten island ferry in it, though a forgotten borough, I noted the warmth that comes from being home.
What I love about “This Time Of Year” is that the song features melodies that are pure, a vocal performance that is comforting, and lyrics that perfectly describe the feelings that come with spending the holidays with someone that is special. I don’t have a single complaint about this song.
