Tory Lanez Premieres His 80s Persona In “Lady Of Namek”

Lady Of Namek

Tory Lanez

RGM RATING (??????)

Why is Tory Lanez doing this?

Tory Lanez is one of those musicians that is too talented for his own good. In the last ten years, I’ve heard him toy with rap music, pop music, R&B music, afrobeat music, reggae music, and unadulterated trap music. Today, the Canadian singer decided to dip his toes in some 80s-styled music, and believe it or not, he sounds like a natural.

“Lady Of Namek” is powered by a synth-heavy beat that has a bit of a knock to it. Over it, Tory hits us with high-pitched vocals and beloved melodies. Content-wise, the 29-year-old does a great job of spewing out lyrics that makes him sound like a jilted high-schooler that just went through puberty.

“Lady Of Namek” is the first single off Tory’s upcoming Alone At Prom album.
