I was always jealous of Maxwell’s f**king hair growing up. I probably should’ve been jealous of his voice. In the last 30 years, Max has put together a myriad of classic R&B tracks. Today, the Grammy award-winning singer decided to make his return to the music scene with “OFF,” a track that made my clothes take off its clothes.
“OFF” is powered by a silky smooth instrumental that has some oomph attached to it. Over it, Maxwell hits us with vocals that will try to pick a fight with your libido. If you are a fan of Maxwell, I have no doubt in my mind that you will love this song.
In a few months, Maxwell plans on releasing blacksummers’NIGHT, the third album in his BLACK trilogy. Apparently, “OFF” is the first single off the upcoming album.
