Capella Grey is more than just a TikTok wonder.

Not a single person will call “Gyalis” the song of the year, but if we are keeping it a stack, it should be. Even though the remixes to “Gyalis” are more popular than the original version, let’s not act like Capella didn’t shine in latter. To prove that his performance on “Gyalis” is no fluke, the NYC native decided to release “Talk Nice,” a track that I think will have a long shelf life.

First and foremost, I have to say this: I f**king love the beat that powers “Talk Nice.” That s**t makes me want to sip on some Henny but also watch two roosters fight. Over the beat, Capella does a great job of hitting us with intoxicating vocals, trill deliveries, shifty flows, and sly/boastful lyrics. Though the song flows very weirdly, I think a girl that is in full control of her hips will know what to do when it comes on in the club.
