“Diamond Mind” is one of the tracks that you will hear on GTA Online’s “The Contract” EP.
Dr. Dre has decided that February is his. Not only will he perform at the upcoming Super Bowl, but he will also be a major part of GTA Online’s The Contract EP. Today, Dre decided to release four singles off the project; one of those singles is “Diamond Mind” with Nipsey Hussle and Ty Dolla $ign.
One thing that I really appreciate is that people don’t just throw Nipsey’s stashed verses into just any song. I feel like most posthumous Nipsey tracks are powerful as s**t. With that being said, it doesn’t get more powerful than “Diamond Mind.” Backed by an instrumental that will make you feel grandiose, Nip and Dr. Dre keep it 99+1 about living life to the fullest, remaining a hard worker even after their big paydays, and overcoming serious odds. While Nip toys with a myriad of flows in his verse, Dre spits his words rawly. As for Ty Dolla $ign, he seconds what both rappers speak about, plugging in powerful vocals in the process.
I needed “Diamond Mind” on this weak-ass rainy day.
