RGM RATING (????????)

Queen Naija’s music stays making me want to delete my personal Instagram account.

When people talk about the best female singers in the game today, Queen Naija’s name gets lost in the shuffle. Well, today, she decided to return to the music scene with “Hate Our Love,” a track that indicates that she doesn’t give a damn about what her naysayers think.

“Hate Our Love” is one of those powerful R&B tracks that feature a chorus that you will easily drown in, melodies that would work in any generation, and lyrics that will remind you how annoying having someone all up in your love life (In my Suge Knight voice) can be. Overall, I think Queen Naija definitely puts up a great performance in this song. With that being said, featured guest Big Sean is what takes this song to another level. In both of his verses, using excellent flows and picturesque lyrics, he highlights the importance of having a good connection with someone that you plan on spending the rest of your life with. I thought his words in the song were the most relatable. Nonetheless, the song is a good collaboration for sure.
