Do you know what I love about EarthGang? In their music, they do a lot of experimenting. With that being said, I expect their Ghetto Gods album to be a very good listen. Today, yet another single from the project, “AMEN,” has hit streaming services.
“AMEN” is the definition of a smooth banger. For starters, the song features a beat that is just as soulful as it is electrifying. As for EarthGang and Musiq Soulchild, they each do their thing on the song. The former uses both gentle and assertive bars to proclaim the importance of loyalty to them, while the latter completes the song with a passionate vocal performance. All in all, I can see “AMEN” being one of the bigger hits off Ghetto Gods (Assuming the song will be on the album).
EarthGang sounds kind of controlling in this song… I guess some girls like that s**t.
