Taliah Elizabeth has a voice that could move mountains, initiate world peace, and win a fight against all of our souls. Though her catalog is not extensive, it doesn’t take but five seconds of hearing her sing to make you a Taliever. Don’t believe me? Go ahead and listen to “Spotlight” below.
“Spotlight” is the ultimate slow jam. Backed by an instrumental that is easy to drown in, Taliah sings about sharing an intimate moment with someone that she sees as special. What I love about the song is that it features a vocal performance that is unapologetically touching, a chorus that is hella infectious, and lyrics that describe romanticness to a T.
