Coke Zero Freestyle

Fabolous & Fabolous.

RGM RATING (??????)

Something about the “Diet Coke” beat brings out the best in former drug dealers.

Doesn’t it feel like street rap is making a comeback? As of late, I’ve been hearing a bunch of new hard-ass records that could’ve thrived in the 90s. One of the tracks that scream out 90s street rap is “Diet Coke.” Today, two New Yorkers who know a thing or two about moving coke, Fabolous and Jim Jones, decided to drop bars over the “Diet Coke” beat.

You get slick flows mixed with authentic drug dealing-inspired lyrics from both Jim Jones and Fabolous in “Coke Zero.” Matter of fact, I can’t even count how many times I heard “white girls” in the song. If you grew up addicted to the white or New York mixtapes, this song will strike a chord with you.
